Walker Evans Emulation
The following photographs were taken in Selma, Alabama for my artist emulation. I was hoping to capture the same simplicity and honesty as Walker Evans did when photographing rural Alabama. It was amazing to look through the lens at a town so seemingly unchanged by the times and to imagine that perhaps I was seeing things exactly as they were when Evans travelled through Selma.

great job, exactly what I wanted and what I expect from a senior. I will miss you when you graduate. You have had great success with your art, it is due to your serious nature. Keep it up and you will have great success.
I always leave comments about texture and crisp focus and contrast and black and white and this week I said I wouldn't do that again but GASP ~ Laurel, I love all those aforementioned things about this photo. It is lovely, scrumptious, smashing. (:
